In the narcissistic age of the selfie, an embittered middle-aged man mourns the demise of society. But, when life-changing news hits, he decides the time has come to fight back.
The Coming Tide was created as an experiment to see what could be achieved working entirely alone with limited resources.
It was filmed with a second-hand Canon C300 and a single studio light, then edited with stock footage, and enhanced with some basic visual effects.
The aim was to see how close to a big-budget film an actor can get, whilst producing a glorified self-tape, at home alone.
